Who we are – Let us introduce ourselves
Fachverlag
Hans Carl of
Nuremberg
is an international information network for the entire brewing and
beverage sector. With their specialist journals and books, the
company is an information service provider and medium for the
entire sector, and serves customers worldwide in print with books
and magazines, and online with a range of internet services,
newsletters and archives.
BRAUWELT
Print and Online
Subscribers
to BRAUWELT receive 3 editions of BRAUWELT per month, and also the
BRAUWELT newsletter, which lets them know on Tuesday what they
will be able to read in full in the print edition on Thursday. The
BRAUWELT International newsletter also gives them up-to-date
information about all innovations in the brewing sector worldwide.
It contains current market data and expert coverage of all
scientific and technical developments. Subscribers can also look
back at the BRAUWELT archive at www.brauwelt.de.
This offers access to all BRAUWELT publications since 1991, from
1999 with the full text in PDF, as well as the BrauStatistik (brewing
statistics) area, which contains the most important statistics on
the brewing and beverage sector. A BRAUWELT subscription also
includes the BRAUWELT breviary – a yearbook, which is probably
unique in the sector, handy, clear, and so practical it is
indispensable.
Reflecting
the great international demand for BRAUWELT, it is published in
four foreign languages: BRAUWELT International in English,
BRAUWELT Spanish, BRAUWELT Chinese and BRAUWELT Russian.
Fachverlag Hans Carl offers a comprehensive range of information
worldwide, and reaches decision-makers on-site in their own
language.
The
BRAUWELT International Newsletter is available free worldwide.
Subscribers can log in for access to all specialist articles from
BRAUWELT International since 1999.
All BRAUWELT readers can enter the BRAUWELT forum, a chat
room for all questions related to production of beer and beverages.
BrewingScience
The
international importance of the BrewingScience
specialist journal published by Fachverlag Hans Carl is clear from
the very name. It is published online first as a scientific organ
for the Weihenstephan Scientific Centre at the TU Munich, the VLB
(Versuchs- und Lehranstalt) in Berlin, the Scientific Station for
Brewing in Munich, the Veritas Laboratory in Zurich, Doemens-wba
Technikum GmbH in Gräfeling/Munich, the Wissenschaftsförderung
der deutschen Brauwirtschaft, and its reach is even more global
due to cooperation with renowned international institutions, both
for articles and distribution.
As
well as the online edition and the printed yearbook, subscribers
receive unlimited access to the brewing science database. This
makes it possible to search over 30,000 summaries of publications
relating to beverage science from every country in the world
published since 1963. In addition to the scientific work that is
published directly, we keep readers informed with a service
offering summaries of relevant scientific contributions in other
magazines.
Following cooperation with the European Brewery Convention (EBC), BrewingScience has been their favoured publication medium since 2009.
Specialist
books from Fachverlag Hans Carl
The
company publishes specialist books as well as the specialist
magazines, to fulfil its role as an information service provider.
The range includes classics such as the Brewery Address Book,
which is updated every two years and is now in its 25th edition,
and the textbook, “Selected Chapters from Brewing Technology”.
These titles are just two examples from the wide range of
specialist books.
A
whole range of English-language titles was also generated in
cooperation with the European Brewery Convention (EBC). These
titles bring together science and practice and are a treasury of
technical and technological knowledge worldwide. For example
Analytica EBC, a collection of loose sheets, which has just
appeared in its 8th edition.
The
specialist bookstore can order and deliver any books and
publications on beer and beverages, even including fiction,
worldwide with a very quick turnaround.
The
range of the general publishing department within Fachverlag Hans
